From the design process in the London studio through to the final creation of each piece, Estella Bartlett jewellery is handcrafted with a blend of artisanal skills, traditional techniques and a little help from 3D printing.
Creative Director Louise develops a moodboard and sketches for each collection, drawing on inspiration from a particular theme. Craftsmen carve miniature charms out of wax, while designers work their magic with CAD technology. In the makers’ workshop, award-winning charm and jewellery makers use numerous tools and techniques to create the final pieces.
Sterling silver jewellery by Estella Bartlett will naturally remain silver forever. To revive its shine, simply give it an occasional polish with a silver cloth. Estella Bartlett plated jewellery incorporates high quality plating; however, continued wear may lead to tarnishing. To prevent tarnishing and keep jewellery in tip-top condition, please follow the care instructions below:
- Keep jewellery dry; don’t be tempted to wear it in the shower, pool or sea
- Be careful with fragrances; apply lotions and potions before jewellery
- Just like your skin, limit exposure to direct sunlight
